Definers Ramps Up With Addition Of Two New Staffers
Today, Definers Public Affairs announced the addition of two new staffers in its rapidly expanding Arlington headquarters.
Casey Harper is joining the firm as a Director. A former DC journalist and Hill staffer, Casey brings a diverse background of Washington communications and political experience. He joined Definers in 2017 after serving as Communications Director for Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.). Prior to joining Definers, Casey worked as a reporter for The Daily Caller and The Hill, where he covered issues ranging from politics to DC lobbyists to health care. A Hillsdale College alum, his work has also been published on Fox News, Drudge Report, USA Today and more. Casey made headlines in 2015 for being hospitalized while covering the Baltimore riots. He also enjoys mentoring young journalists for the Young Americas Foundation’s National Journalism Center.
Tom Mulkeen is coming on board as an Associate for research and war room services for Definers clients. Before joining Definers, Tom worked in the research department at the Republican National Committee. He was born and raised in New York State, but worked in New Hampshire politics for over two years prior to moving to Washington. He is an alum of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee and the Jeb Bush presidential campaign in addition to working on campaigns in New Hampshire at the state and local level. He is a graduate of Villanova University and can frequently be found cheering on the Wildcats’ basketball team.
